A beautiful Dovo Bismarck straight razor that I re-scaled using bone, these bone scale's are really elegant looking and simply look superb.

After the re-scale I set a bevel using my 1k Naniwa Chosera stone after that I went to my medium/hard Shobu Japanese whetstone and built up a nice muddy slurry which I worked for a good while only making a couple of dilutions to the mix, once the slurry was broken down very fine I rinsed the blade and went to my super hard and fine Shobu (pictured) and did around 10-15 finishing strokes to really push the keeness up...........after stropping the razor I got a solid HHT 5.
