Razor Restoration Services
First of all a little about myself, I'm Mark Odams, a barber with 18 years’ experience I own a busy barbershop in Nottingham, England. Alongside my passion for barbering I have also had a very keen interest in wet shaving, using cut throat razors and in razor restoration making old razors and not so old razors shave ready.
I have been a cut throat razor shaver since 2006. Later on I started to hone and strop my own razors. My passion for making razors 100% shave ready lead me to create ‘Razor Guy UK’ England’s premier straight razor honing, stropping razor sharpening service.

I love working with natural hones including Belgian Coticule and Japanese Natural hones AKA Jnat. It's not just the natural beauty and nostalgic qualities of these rocks that appeal to me, these stones and in particular coticule stones are known for producing the keenest possible edge on a razor. The keener the razors edge, the less passes are needed for a close yet comfortable shave which is a real benefit to anyone who like me has sensitive skin.
