A Love For Straight Razors And The Famous Belgian Coticule

Welcome to my first blog post !
My goal is to try and get as many new guys into using straight razors as I can, so many only see shaving as such a chore (as I did) but it really can be so much more than that. There is nothing more rewarding than honing up your own straight razor and taking that to your face and feeling that blade take the whiskers off like a hot knife through butter.
I am a barber and am fortunate enough to have my own barbershop here in Nottingham so every day I get to talk to guys about shaving and not to mention working with straight razors and my beloved Belgian Coticules all day. Whether guys need help or advice about shaving, honing or sometimes just a chat I am always available.
When I first started out my straight razor journey I was using a synthetic hone but then I was introduced to the wonders of the Belgian Coticule a natural razor whetstone, since then I have amassed quite the collection and lucky enough to be a UK vendor for Ardennes Coticule, the sole provider for coticules.
